God’s Hope for Uganda Families (GHUF) is a non-profit organization operating in Kyenjojo, Uganda. We provide access to education to students who do not have the ability to pursue it, due to family circumstances, disabilities or lack of financial means.
Two of our three cofounders grew up in Kyenjojo District and attended school within the community themselves.
Every Child
deserves a chance
But 70% of adults in Uganda earn less than $1 per day. This means kids often don’t get the chance they deserve, especially in rural communities.
We currently support 24+ students from Kindergarten through Secondary/Technical School who are striving for a better life through education!
From Orphans
to cofounders
When Travis met Solomon and Godfrey in 2008, they were students at a school serving mostly orphans within the Kyenjojo village in Uganda.
They never imagined that 10 years later, they would start a nonprofit together.
